Nashville Fibro Friends

Share With Those Who Understand Fibro Friends was begun after a Nashville wife and mother was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2007. After months of searching for an answer with the constant support of her doctor, she suddenly felt abandoned once diagnosed. While receiving full medical support, she felt alone when it came to the support of family, friends and fellow sufferers. Where were those who understood? If you're a Fibro or chronic pain sufferer in the Nashville, Tennessee, area come share your knowledge, laughter and tears with those who understand the fog. Come find a Friend. Info:Founded in February 2009, our support group purpose is dedicated to education, awareness, advocacy and support for all of Kentucky and Indiana. Organizers are certified members of the Leaders Against Pain Coalition through the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association (NFMCPA). Our network of support is nationwide and our dedication is shown in our 4 years of ongoing support.awareness, education and support to our local community. We are a free, non-profit organization, who is dedicated in organizing charitable events and ways to provide funds to support Fibromyalgia research and support. Our meetings have structured topics and occasionally include additional meetings for guest speakers or additional support days. There are awareness bracelets, t-shirts and other products available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association as well as supporting our group funding for group events and continued support. Our finance report is public and available upon request. We do understand that there are many who have combination diagnosis such as RA, CFS, Lupus, & FM so please know that all are welcome!
