ONWARD & UPWARD is open to all Chronic Pain & Fibromyalgia patients, family, friends, caregivers, and heath care providers. There are no fees or requirements for attending meetings or joining our Facebook Page.
ONWARD & UPWARD , Chronic Pain and Fibromyalgia Support Group is available to provide information, education and advocacy, as well as, support and inspiration to those who deal with daily chronic pain and other accompanying conditions. The meetings are also open to anyone who would like to support Chronic Pain and Fibromyalgia Awareness.
ONWARD & UPWARD covers not only Fibromyalgia, but also (to name a few) Multiple Sclerosis, Sjogrens Syndrome, Lupus, Arthritis, Spinal Stenosis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Endometriosis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Neuropathy, Migraines/Chronic Headaches, Chiari Malformation, Celiac & Crohn's Disease, Muscular Dystrophy, Temporo-mandibular Joint Syndrome, Myofascial Pain Syndrome, Phantom Limb Pain, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome & any other condition that causes long-term pain &/or fatigue.
Many chronic pain conditions, including Fibromyalgia, are often misdiagnosed and misunderstood. The goal of ONWARD & UPWARD is to bring invisible pain disorders into the light, provide support to patients and their loved ones, and to increase public awareness. Above all, the group is another way of empowering chronic pain patients by becoming proactive in their own health care and treatment.
