Community involvements. About Me About Me: ---I am a happily married mother of 9 (3 inherited),We also have 4 grandchildren. I really need my strength and energy to be a better wife, mother and grandmother. Unfortunately (depending how you see it) God had other plans for me. I had been quietly suffering from fibromyalgia for years, but didn't know what was wrong.I was diagnosed in January 2007 after many years of pain and believing it must be in my head because the doctors could not find anything wrong.   Ten million people have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. What about the people who are suffering quietly? Most primary, ER, Urgent care doctors have not even heard of it. What about the people who listen to the first couple of doctors who think its all in your head? It is in your head, the Central Nervous System. What about the people who never heard of it?   My work is to make FM a household name, so everyone who is suffering can get help or if you love someone who has it, get educated. This illness can be debilitating. Not only do you suffer physically, but emotionally and in your everyday relationships. Please help me get the word out.
