Additional Details (Fees, Purpose, Focus, Etc.): Open to all patients. No membership fees or dues. Small donations are accepted to help defray the cost of supplies, handouts and refreshments. Guest speakers from time to time. Meetings consist of patient education, new treatments and available drugs, discussions. Assistance with helping individuals find a good pain management physician or PCP/Rheumatologist, etc.
Each new member is offered a free 2 hour consultation with Dr. McClary who is the Psychosociologist who runs the meetings. Meetings usually run from 6:30-8:30PM. Group discussions are welcomed, but only positive comments are accepted. No doctor bashing or negative put downs are allowed.
