Activities at monthly meeting: Discussion of what's going on with each other, sharing information and helpful ideas, listening to others' stories and what has worked for them, occasionally, we have guest speakers (about every other month).
On Fridays, every week, we meet at:
The Talebu Coffee Shop, on the NE corner of Warner and Alma School Rd. in Chandler.

**We also have a Coffee Club Meeting every Friday (except for the Friday after the Support Group Meeting)**
A closer, more one-on-one conversation with each other. This is just regular conversation about whatever we want to talk about. It's a time for:
- New members who really need someone to talk to about Fibromyalgia, in between our more in-depth, monthly support group meeting on the second Thursday of each month.
- For those "morning people" who are more able to meet in the mornings rather than the evenings, like our regular meeting at 6:00 P.M.
On Fridays, almost every week, we meet at:
The B&G Cafe, on the SE Corner of Gilbert and Ray Roads in Gilbert.
1605 S. Gilbert Rd. Ste. 102 (480-247-2065) Look for the horse on top of the building!
For more information, please call group leader. If no answer, leave a message saying you will be there with your name and phone number to return the call, in case something comes up.
If you are a new member and would like to meet for coffee in between the regular meetings.... OR if you're more of a "morning person" than an "evening person" give me a call and let's get together!
$5 donation for lunch

FibroCares
FibroCares of Miami Support Group Welcomes you If you are looking for a support group composed of some of the warmest, smartest and most compassionate people, you need look no further!!
We meet once a month, typically on the last Tuesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Sometimes we have a special topic that we discuss and sometimes we just talk and offer the kind of support that only a group of fellow-fibromyalgics could offer. The group is easy-going, funny, and empathetic all at the same time. New members are readily accepted and seem to "fit it" by the end of their first meeting.
If this sounds like something that might be of value to you, please call me, Shelley, at 305-271-1744. If I am not home, I will call you back as quickly as possible. I can also be contacted by e-mail at franknshelley418@bellsouth.net
I look forward to speaking with you about our friendly, kind, educational and caring Support Group.
Be as well as possible and take care to not over-do! Fondly, Shelley Slapion-Foote |
