This is a free group intended to provide information and support to anyone affected by Fibromyalgia Syndrome.
The goal is to help adults utilize mindfulness skills, relaxation techniques, and health-promoting behavioral choices to promote and maintain their health as well as address relationship concerns relevant to living with chronic illness. One psycho-educational concept will be presented each week, there will be time for group discussion and support, and participants will be asked to create an action plan for themselves each week. The psycho-educational materials and topics will be applicable to a wide range of medical conditions including Heart Disease, Arthritis, Chronic Pain, Headaches, Diabetes, and other physical and medical conditions.
This is a group therapy appointment that is billed to your insurance company. Those interested in the group can call our intake desk at (630) 325-5300 to complete an intake. Group members may use Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO insurance, Medicare, or pay $90 per session; sliding scale if qualified.
