Time's running out, but it's not too late to make a last-minute
tax-deductible
2013 donation to the NFMCPA!
Help put the puzzle pieces of fibromyalgia together.

Your donation supports:

Newsletter - Advocate Voice, a free monthly digital publication with the newest resource information, research updates, advocacy alerts, and general information about day-to-day challenges to help people with fibromyalgia and chronic pain.

Education - The NFMCPA offers both professional medical and patient education on its website and through announcements in its newsletter, magazine and other media venues.

Advocacy - The NFMCPA is the world's largest nonprofit organization representing the voice of millions of people with fibromyalgia and chronic pain to local, state, and national government agencies and legislatures, scientific research entities, healthcare professionals, and disability organizations. Its Leaders Against Pain program and Fibromyalgia Awareness Day campaigns help raise recognition of these invisible conditions.

Magazine - Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain LIFE, free online digital publication, featuring interesting articles written by leading researchers, medical professionals, advocates and other experts skilled in fibromyalgia and chronic pain science, treatments, diagnosis and advocacy issues. Also available for purchase in print format on the NFMCPA website at www.fmcpaware.org

Research - Besides reporting scientific research updates on its website, newsletters, Facebook, and magazine, the NFMCPA offers research surveys to its members and other constituents to offer a clearer picture of the fibromyalgia and chronic pain patient community. Your concerns are represented, including access to care; appropriate, effective pain treatment; and finding the cause and cure of fibromyalgia.

Treatment - Along with articles, pod casts, blog radio interviews, videos and social networking avenues, the NFMCPA website offers up-to-date treatment information including complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) techniques and prescription medication options.

Diagnosis - The NFMCPA follows viable scientific research outcomes and then alerts constituents about new fibromyalgia diagnostic possibilities, including a recently developed clinical blood test which is already on the market.

Resources - The NFMCPA offers free fibromyalgia and chronic pain resources on its website, webinars, newsletters, magazine, pod casts, blog radio, videos and social networking. Support group listings by states as well as fibro friendly healthcare providers are included as free resources on the website.

Please make a tax-deductible, end-of-year donation to the NFMCPA, a charitable, non-profit 501(c)3 organization to ensure all of the programs, resources and other information listed above will continue to be available!
